Why Free Online Translation Are In Your Future For Getting International Clients

Getting international clients used to seem so daunting. Communicating with people you can’t understand. Costly translation costs.
Today the free, easily available, online translation tools now are good enough to be of real help in getting your business started with international clients.
Do you use Google at all? If so one of these free translation tools is probably staring at you right in the face. On the Google home page just replace the ‘www’ with ‘translate’ and you will be on the translation page.
This translation page lets you translate from English into 15 different languages. You can also translate into English from those 15 languages. The Google translation tool also gives you the ability to offer a better translation for a word or phrase.
For example, if you translate bush into one of the foreign languages, you get the word for a woody plant that typically produces several separate stems. If you translate George Bush, the tool recognizes this phrase as a name and does not translate it.
The reason this is important has to do with the concept of supply and demand. Because of the volume of online content that needs translation is growing, translation tools will be developed and improved even more. This volume of content is increasing as the internet increases in size. The number of translators and the time needed to translate is pushing for further development in software for translation and content management.
Today the English speaking world has pretty much saturated the internet, but the amount of English speaking internet users is not going to dramatically increase.
As an example, the amount of Chinese and Russian speakers new to the internet is going to increase. The amount of people who do not speak English, even as a second or third language is dramatically increasing and will continue to grow.
Translation software has improved greatly since its beginning. And it is destined to get better and better. Originally, software translated word of word or the occasional phrase.
The electronic tools available at present have no problem with standard phrases and only start having issues with long and complex phrases. The quality of the translations is good enough to be of great help for most uses, with the exception of sales and marketing materials for your clients.
If you begin to use the tools available for you today for your market research and foreign competitor analysis you will appreciate the service they provide you today. You will become familiar with using the translation. And you will be ready to implement even further the future improvements sure to come.
