Get International Clients The Sunday Blog Carnival

May 8, 2008 by User Imagecindy

I’m sure many of you have already heard about Blog Carnivals. Some of you may have even discovered Get International Clients through one of the many Blog Carnivals that have published my articles.

I’m happy to announce the Get International Clients Sunday Blog Carnival.

I’ll be posting links to articles on 3 primary areas every Sunday:

  • Multicultural, International and Internet Marketing
  • International Business & Sales
  • Cross Cultural Communications

And I’ll be seeking article submissions from all over the world, from English speakers and non-English speakers.

Of course I have quite a few French friends who have articles well worth reading. I’m also hoping for a few submissions originally written in other languages.

The cultural differences should provide interesting reads.

But…

Let me explain a little further.

For Those That Have Not Heard Of A Blog Carnival

According to Wikipedia a Blog Carnival is a type of blog that is similar to a magazine.

It has a title, a topic, editors, contributors, an audience, and is published on a regular schedule, in our case weekly.

There are many variations of Blog Carnival, but typically, someone who wants to organize a carnival posts details of the theme or topic to their blog, and asks readers to submit articles to be included in an upcoming edition.

The host, in this case Get International Clients, then collects links to these submissions, comments on them, and publishes one blog post containing all of the links and reviews.

Why Create A Blog Carnival?

There is so much information in the blog-o-sphere that it is hard to find the right information.

If there is a subject that you are specifically interested in, following a Blog Carnival in that area is a great way to learn what bloggers are saying.

Writing for a Blog Carnival in that area is a great way to pass on your expertise, gain some visibility and do a little networking.

Who Creates A Blog Carnival?

You do.

Well, there is an organizer and host for the Blog Carnival. This is who decides what the Blog Carnival is about, what the submission criteria are, and how often it will be published.

The organizer may also decide to allow different people to host editions of the carnival.

After the host, there are the bloggers and article writers who write articles on the carnival’s topic. As these articles are not actually published on the host’s blog, theses articles must already be posted on the writers own blog or website.

Anyone can submit a link for inclusion in the next edition of the carnival. Very often the bloggers who contribute to carnivals are experts in their field and are seek to promote their expertise or services.

An International Internet Marketing Tool

It is all internet marketing. For a blogger, the advantages to submitting your article to a Blog Carnival are:

  • Backlinks,
  • Targeted traffic,
  • RealRank,
  • PageRank,
  • Technorati Authority
  • And more.

The more targeted the Blog Carnival audience the more value your article promotion is.

Reasons For The Get International Clients Sunday Blog Carnival

Get International Clients is for businesses to learn how to get international clients now. The success of international business development often hangs on your ability to adapt to different cultures. It also involves changing your own mindset.
The Sunday Blog Carnival is one way to share, to learn from each other and get insights into other business arenas.

I am particularly interested in a mixture of articles from different cultures. In the few months since this blogs existence there have been many, many visitors from all over the world with similar questions, but from slightly different perspectives.

There have been many visitors from non-English speaking countries.

So I would like to identify where the writer is from just to give further insights into the article writer. And I would also like to try to get a good selection of foreign language articles.

International business development strategies have changed with the internet and good internet practices can get you international clients.

Combine this with good cross cultural communication, integrated marketing strategies and whatever tips and tricks you can supply to get even more international clients.

Foreign Language Articles Are Welcome

I want to make it easy for foreign submissions. I’m not really sure how well this will work. But I want to give this a good try. The free Google Translate tool will come to the rescue.

If your article is not in English I will use Google Translate to check the appropriateness of your article for Get International Clients submission. And let’s hope others will follow suit to read the articles either with the translation tools or without.

Articles Written In English - As A Second Language

If English is not your first language and you have a very interesting article for Get International Client readers, I may be able to help you polish the English version of your article.

Attention: I only said “polish” – I will read all articles to review them, and as I read I can easily take out any blatant English mistakes and make it a smoother read in English. I’m only willing to do this as I read your article for review the first and only time.

Corrections will depend on how quickly I am able to do this, how good your translation is and how relevant it is to Get International Clients readers.

If you are interested, please email me immediately after you submit your article to the Blog Carnival, to let me know as I will not be reading articles twice.

Note: there are absolutely no guarantees or claims to good translation.
